Vintage 1950s celluloid lenticular eyes bell hop monkey doll carnival prize
Super cute, and fun, vintage 1940s or early 1950s lenticular eyed monkey doll. His celluloid face is quite detailed and unique with those moving lenticular/googly eyes, that were popular of the time. Has its original red ribbon that was used for hanging at carnivals and fairs.
He's dressed in a charming, corduroy bell hop outfit. He measures 13" inches tall by 12" inches wide with its arms spread. His plastic hands and arms are made of rubber plastic. Although there's no markings, the toy is most likely made in Japan.
Small fray of fabric behind left sleeve near hand. His celluloid face paint has some wear as well, also shown. There's a factory slice behind one ear, doesn't seem to be damage.
