  This is a very nice brand new black iron show bit made by Greg Darnall with engraved sterling silver Cavalry shanks.  The gorgeous engraved sterling silver is overlaid on the loose cheeks.  This bit is very balanced and weighs 1 pound 1 ounce.  The bit measures 8 inches long with a 2-1/2 inch purchase for a 3.2 to one leverage ratio.  The mouthpiece is 5 inches wide by 3/8 inch in diameter with a 1 inch tall by 1-1/2 inch wide low curb port mouthpiece.   This bit features a Cavalry style black steel loose cheek.  The bit is marked with Greg Darnall's GD maker's mark in two places.
