Please note that the red stripes on this teapot are a bit faded from years of use, but the teapot is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks found! It's wood handle is sturdy and thick and will last for years to come. The band around the top of the pot appears to be stainless steel and is a thick, heavy band. The teapot comes with a glass lid.

Use it cold or hot, use tea bags, loose tea, iced tea, sun tea or hot tea.
