The 18V LXT® Cordless 24" Hedge Trimmer (XHU10Z) is part of Makita’s wide range of cordless outdoor power equipment. The XHU10Z Hedge Trimmer has a 24" blade for increased cutting capacity and a compact and ergonomic design that weighs up to 30% less than gas models. It features a Makita-built motor that delivers 2,700 SPM for faster cutting speed when set on the high speed option. It has the power to cut thick branches 3/5" in diameter. The 24" dual action double-sided steel blade provides optimal performance. The XHU10Z delivers up to 100 minutes of run time with 18V LXT® 4.0Ah battery (sold separately). Convenience features include a compact and ergonomic design at only 40-1/2" long, and a rubberized soft grip that provides increased comfort on the job. The cordless XHU10Z has zero emissions and reduced maintenance: there's no engine oil to change, no spark plug to replace, and no air filter or muffler to clean.
