Brand new factory sealed blu-ray is Out Of Print (OOP) and no longer being manufactured. Two Native American tales of flying menace and evil spirits.
NIGHTWING: Starts out as a young, perplexed, Maskai Indian tribal deputy Duran (Nick Mancuso), is torn between the modern world and the ancient mysteries of his people. During his patrol he is summoned to a New Mexico Indian community to investigate the bizarre death of a horse.
Bats attack during the night horribly mutilating cattle and people. As the tribe is an uproar over the attacks, an expert is summoned. Surly English biologist David Warner shows up with a "bat mobile" loaded with scientific tracking equipment. The search for the bat cave begins, but when deputy Duran learns that his girlfriend, camping in the desert, comes under attack, he sets out to save her.
SHADOW of the HAWK: After years of living in the city and working in a business world altogether apart from his roots, Mike (Jan-Michael Vincent) is contacted by freelance reporter Maureen. She was enlisted by his grandfather, Old Man Hawk (Chief Dan George), to find him and bring him back to the village to help defeat an evil threatening the tribe.
When Mike returns with Maureen, they find the village is beset by a bad 200-year-old spirit. The shaman and his grandson must use an ancient Indian exorcism to rid them of the evil spirit. Beautifully photographed supernatural fantasy.
