This is an adorable pair of vintage miniature (very tiny -- only 2-3/4" long!) boxing gloves. They appear to be leather to me and it also appears that they have the original laces intact. The colors are more grey and dark beige on one side and brown on the other ... photos make them look whiter than they are in person. Although they came together and are very similar in design, there are subtle differences; ie, a leather separation piece on the one glove hand and only stitching marks on the other. Can't explain this as this is the way they were found in the estate. There is general age wear as shown in the photos. There is a small marking on the one glove that looks like a horse or animal of some kind. This could just be the way the glove is worn or it could be a maker's mark? You be the judge.
