MURANO Style Hand Blown Art Glass Ruffled Cranberry & White Spatter 8" Ribbed Melon Vase

It features a crimped, ruffled cranberry pink edge turning to a clear, with white spatter, and a bulbous, ribbed, melon shaped body.
Spatter glass, also known as splatter glass, end-of-day glass or splashed glass, is a technique that has been used for several centuries and dates right back to the Romans.
The style of vase is often associated with Italian Murano Glass, or Fenton Glass. However, the manufacturer/origin of this piece is unknown. It is vintage, and will date back to at least the late 1980s.
EXCELLENT CONDITION ~ No nicks, chips, cracks, flea bites, or damage.
Measures approx. 8"H x 6 3/4"across the ruffled rim.
Weighs just a bit shy of 2 lbs. prior to packaging.
