The Deauville Club was located north of the Santa Monica Pier along the Pacific Ocean in Los Angeles. It opened in 1927 and offered guest rooms, a gymnasium, a saltwater plunge, lockers and showers, lounge rooms, game rooms, private dining rooms, and a restaurant. In 1930, the Los Angeles Athletic Club bought the Deauville Club and, in 1934, a breakwater built in the bay expanded the sandy beaches and create more oceanfront space. By about 1960, the club fell into disuse. An unknown arsonist or arsonist set fires inside the club in 1964, and it was destroyed. The site was razed in 1965 or 1966.
