Black & Decker LST136B 40V Lithium High Performance String Trimmer Bare tool features a Power Drive Transmission which delivers more power from the motor to the cutting string so you can get the job done faster. It also has a Power Command dial which allows you to choose between max power to tackle thick weeds and max runtime to increase battery life. It has an Automatic Feed Spool that ensures continuous work without bumping and having to stop to adjust the spool. This unit also easily converts from a trimmer to an edger with a quick turn of the shaft. Cutting swath measures 13", generally used for trimming areas of overgrowth after mowing and edging along borders, sidewalks and flower beds. Black & Decker's electric lawn and garden equipment releases zero emissions in your yard, helping to reduce your carbon footprint.Compatible with both the 36V Lithium Ion and the 40V MAX* Lithium Ion battery.
