Likely published to promote the movie "Tish" before its' release in 1942. Three elderly spinsters play mother to an orphaned baby in this warm-hearted comedy based on the famous “Tish” stories by Mary Roberts Rinehart. This book does not have illustrations from the movie.

Mary Roberts Rinehart (1876–1958) was an American writer, often called the American Agatha Christie. She also worked to tell the stories and experiences of front-line soldiers during World War I, one of the first women to travel to the Belgian front lines.

Hardcover has turquoise cloth boards with navy lettering on spine and front, but no DJ. Top page-edge printed blue. Interior is tight, clean, and, expect for prior owner's name on front paste-down, unmarked. This penciled signature is the only "flaw" from rating the condition as Fine (As New).
