CLEMSON SPINELESS OKRA. American Heirloom vegetable originally from Africa where it still grows wild. Full size pods are about 8", but are best if picked about 3 or 4 inches. These pods have no spines or thorns so no gloves are need to harvest. The plant gets about 6 ft tall and 2ft wide. Perfect for gardens or patio containers. This okra holds its color and texture when cooked and it freezes well. About 65 days to harvest. Medium water and full sun. This strain grows fast, so can get two plantings in a growing season.
