Details: 9" overall, 3.5” blade, 2.5” spike. Oval opening for handle is 1.25"x1" Good size for a camp axe but strong and solid enough for heavy-duty tasks. The weighty back spike would be effective for splitting even large logs. Weighs 1 lb, 12.5 ozs.

D2 Tool Steel is a high-carbon, high-chromium steel characterized with a very high attainable hardness. that provides an effective combination of wear resistance and toughness.
