This is an assembled board of speaker protection circuit to be used in between power amplifier and loudspeaker. The functions include power on delay and DC protection. It is two individual protection circuits build on one board as a dual mono configuration. The rating of each relay is 30A, so that for 8 ohm loading this is equivalent to 240Wrms of power rating.
Besides normal unbalanced amplifier protection, the board can also be connected for protecting balanced output amplifiers such as BTL. On board rectification and regulation is included.
Power input : AC12V to 15V ( both single or center tap is ok).
