Welding Polarity

  1. Gas MIG (GMAW): Insert MIG Torch. Locate the Ground Clamp on the negative terminal(-). Locate the Polarity conversion plug on Positive terminal (+).
  2. Flux Core MIG(FCAW): Insert MIG Torch. Locate the Ground Clamp on the Positive terminal(+). Locate the Polarity conversion plug on negative terminal (-).
  3. MMA: · Locate the Ground Clamp on Negative terminal (–). Electrode Holder to Positive terminal (+).
  4. Lift TIG: Locate the Ground Clamp on the Positive terminal (+) on the Welder. Tig torch to Negative terminal (-). (Tig torch is not included in package) .
  5. Spot Welding: Can be operated in Gas MIG (GMAW) process or Flux Core MIG(FCAW) process. Refer to GMAW or FCAW for connection.
  6. Spool Gun: Insert spool gun. Can be operated in Gas MIG (GMAW) process or Flux Core MIG(FCAW) process. Refer to GMAW or FCAW for connection.
