Deep purple raspberries ripen in late summer, and right into late autumn. This variety fruits very late, and heavily, usually at the top of the new current year's green.

Amethyst – A cold tolerant, non-suckering purple raspberry for zone 2. Tested along the east side of Chena River in Fairbanks, Alaska. The strong canes and flower buds survived and produced high yields as it would in warmer climates.I do not use pesticides or non organic fertilizers on anything on my property.
