Skylab Space Station 2 3/4" Inch Rare Mini Plastic Model, NASA Space Explorers, Still in New Condition.

This is a brand new condition, small scale model of the one and only U.S. Skylab Space Station. Part of the NASA Space Explorers series, this is not easy to find. This one is still new under it's plastic, on it's original package that was cut down to store away for many years. It's made of hard plastic, and all of the solar panels rotate completely.

It's 2 and 3/4 inches long including the windmill type panels, and looks just like the real thing (with one exception in that one of the solar panels along the body of the actual Skylab station never deployed as was planned, causing the spacecraft to super-heat, until a fix was done).

Skylab hosted 3 Apollo crews before burning up in the Earth's atmosphere. This is a neat little example of Skylab, that has never been touched at all. Cool little model of a wonderful spacecraft!
