Powers on, weather channel comes in loud and clear.  We could not get this unit to start scanning though.  Accessories including the AC adapter charger are included as pictured.  

Please note: this is a used, rechargeable battery.  It charges and holds a charge, but may need replaced if you want it to hold a complete capacity charge.  Replacement batteries are available .
