Parisian Gherkin Cucumbers are an AAS Winner! These delightfully petite cucumbers can be picked at any stage of growth! Grow the perfect small, crisp black-spined pickle for snacking or enjoying fresh in salads and appetizers. These cute crisp-textured gherkins are highly prolific, growing 20-25 gherkins per plant. Plants are compact, about 12" tall plant with 24" dwarf vines, and are excellent for patio or container gardening!

Planting:
Since gherkins cannot survive frost, plant only after all danger of frost has passed and the soil begins to warm. Choose an area with full sunlight, well-drained soil, and away from tree roots. To plant, make 1 inch deep holes spaced 18 inches apart in raised beds down the rows, then plant 3-4 seeds in each hole. Cover seeds with about 1 inch of fine soil and firm the soil with the flat side of a hoe, but do not pack it. Remove extra plants after seedlings emerge.

Parisian Gherkin F1 vines reach 2 feet long and can grow well in containers and small gardens. Trellising is not required.
