“Solenostemon scutellarioides. U.S. Grown Seed. Germination 93%.”
COLEUS RAINBOW MIX. An easy to grow Annual/Perennial that prefers shade. This strain of coleus is a annual if your winter temps are below 50F, or a perennial if temps stay above 50F. This is a mix with yellow, bronze, purple and red over light green foliage. No two plants or leaves are alike. Does well as a houseplant or in the garden. Great for shady borders. Also does well in pots, containers and hanging baskets. Needs an area that is at least partially shaded. They don't do full sun very well. Mottled to full shade is where coleus thrive. They prefer moist, rich soil with good drainage, but with steady water and a little fertilizer they will grow in almost any soil conditions. Most gardeners remove the flowers to keep the foliage healthy and young, but if you allow the flowers to bloom they are loaded with nectar and will attract bees and butterflies. Also, Coleus will reseed if some plants are allowed to live out they natural life-cycle and drop seed for the next year. 350+seeds per order. Thank You!
