Elestial Quartz - is a type of crystal that’s etched and multi-layered with crystals. Also known as Jacare Quartz, Alligator Quartz and Skeletal Quartz. The most common crystal pattern of Elestial Quartz is a step and repeat pattern. Another pattern looks like small crystals joined together. Elestials can also have unusual etchings, cavities, or geometric like patterns.

Scepter Quartz - are crystals in which a second-generation crystal tip grew on top of another quartz crystal. 

Shangaan - Name given to the smoky amethyst elestial scepters from Zimbabwe.

Cheredzi is known for darker amethyst Smokey quartz crystals which are very Brandberg-like. Lepidocrocite specular or needle like inclusions are invariably common. Skeletal or window features and sceptre shapes are common.
