Meet Natalie!
The most actively playful and funny spirit we have ever offered.
Natalie, an only child was 9 years old when she died of scarlet fever in 1916.
As she lay in bed with a high fever and terribly sore throat, she made her parents smile by making funny faces.
Natalie was a very bright and special girl. She lit up any room with her easy smile and bright blue eyes.
She was very friendly, almost to a fault and her Mother had to constantly remind her to be careful of strangers.
At her one room school, she excelled. Learning to read quickly and write elegantly at only 7 years old.
She loved books although she didn't have many of her own. Her favorite was Rebecca of Sunny brook farm. She used to pretend to be Rebecca and would quote the lines of the book as she pranced around the yard.
Natalie's death took a toll on her family. Life seemed very dull once she was gone. Her Father began drinking and didn't live long after Natalie. Her Mother became forlorn and reclusive and rarely came out of the house. She too died within 5 years of her daughter.
The home that they lived in sat vacant for many years. Only recently was it torn down and the materials were used in the construction of a new home. The owners wanted a rustic feel and the old worn boards were perfect.
Once the house was finished...the haunting started.
They would hear giggling and the running of little feet. They could not figure out why their brand new home was haunted.
Our investigative team took our equipment to the site. We witnessed many manifestations of a child ghost. On the voice recorder, she said her name was Natalie. We researched the site where the old wood came from and found the death records of Natalie and her family.
It was then that we decided to allow her to inhibit a doll so that someone could provide her the nurturing that she missed out on.
We tried several dolls, but Natalie was picky. When we brought this one in, she made the doll's hair move and we knew she was stroking her head. We called her spirit into the doll and the whole house was at peace. The owners did not want Natalie, so we have had her in our warehouse for about a year. We didn't feel that the time was right for her to go to a new home and knew that when she was ready, she would let us know. Recently she has been very active. We hear her voice and giggles near the doll. She is very sweet and caring. At times, I have felt her soft little hand brush my cheek. I know she will make someone a very special companion. If you are drawn to her, please do not delay.
