The sweet and sour Guamuchil fruit is consumed raw. Besides, it may season different dishes or add flavor to juices. In rural Mexico and India, some famous recipes with Guamuchil fruits include kodukukai curry, kodukai puli rasam, and kodukai puli kara kolumbu.
