• Vintage Chinese Taiwan Pottery Vase Burgundy Glaze Characters China 
• Marked on vase TAIWAN plus with a Chinese seal mark, we think this dates around the 1960s
• Ceramic body appears to be a mid-weight pottery type of material
• Measures about 13"
• Packed in a trunk by a Chinese American family in 1972, family left mainland China in 1949 and moved to Queens then traveled in the 1950s in United States, Asia, Africa, and Europe, including Hong Kong in 1958, the family moved to Taiwan for a period of years in the mid-1960s then back to the United States. Surviving family members do not know when or where the grandparents acquired the vase but it dates to 1972 or earlier.
• Condition: Pre-owned, good condition no cracks or chips, some crazing visible especially inside neck of vase on white colored glaze
