At a Glance:

This is a new design of the classical LED Chaser Sequencer built with the combo ICs NE555 and CD4017.  This new design has been tested and proven to work with the custom-made Mini Round/Circular PCB (1.77” diameter).  The eKIT(s) LED Chaser comes with White-Bright-Light small (3mm) LEDs and the sequencing-frequencies are adjustable and selectable by the toggle-switch (F/S) between Fast and Slow.  In addition, another set of White LEDs, 5mm Round Style Frosted, is included in the eKIT(s).  The custom-made blue-color Circular-PCB measures only 1.77” (45mm) diameter.  The eKIT(s) also comes with a protection-diode to avoid Reverse-Voltage-Polarity damage to the ICs.

KIT(s) Measurements/Specs:

Diameter = 1.77" (45mm).

Power-Supply (Battery) = 5-12 Volts.

Lowest Frequency ~= 0.2 Hz (by the C3 Capacitor).
Highest Frequency ~= 35 Hz (by the C2 Capacitor).

Switchable:  Yes, can be switched/toggle between C2 and C3.
Adjustable:  Yes, sequencing-frequencies are adjustable by VR1 POT.

Sequencing-Frequencies Range 1 (C3 is selected) ~= 0.2-1.4 Hz (SLOW).
Sequencing-Frequencies Range 2 (C2 is selected) ~= 15-35 Hz (FAST).
