Pipe CutterPut the tube between 2 rows of bearings on tube cutter. Prepare Before Making Flare
Cut the tube. | Put the duburrer blade. | Put on a nut. |
MAKING FLARES
Step 1Choose a two holes clamp corresponding to tube size. Open the clamp and put the tube in it. The end of the tube should be approx 1mm higher than the clamp. close and tighten the two holes clamp. NOTE: put a nut on the tube before starting flaring or expanding. | Step 2Backward the fixing rod anticlockwise before putting the two holes clamp in the yoke. Put the two holes clamp on the yoke until it reaches the bottom, as shown in the figure. Then tighten the fixing rod. | Step 3Put the flaring cone on the center of the grooved piston as shown in the figure. Turn on the hydraulic valve by rotating the knob clockwise. After flaring work is finished, release the hydraulic valve . Then release the fixing rod. Take the tube with two holes clamp out of yoke. | Step 4Prize up the two holes clamp with a scrwodriver from the gap then take the flared tube out.Work finished. |
Tube Expanding
Step 1Choose a two holes clamp corresponding tube size.open the clamp and put the tube in it. The end of tube should be higher than the clamp(for 5mm~22mm tubings, they should 8mm~18mm higher than clamp).close and tighten the two holes clamp. NOTE:put a nut on tube before starting flaring or expanding. | Step 2Backward the fixing rod in anticlockwise before put the two holes clamp in yoke.put the two holes clamp on yoke, then tighten the fixing rod. Put the expander head on the center of grooved piston as shown in figure. Turn on the hydraulic valve by rotate the knob in clockwise. NOTE:align the expander head at tube center when expanding. | Step 3After expanding work is finished,release the hydraulic valve by rotate the knob in anticlockwise. Piston with expander head will retract. Then release the fixing rod. take the tube with two holes clamp out of yoke. | Step 4Prize up the two holes clamp with a scrwodriver from the gap then take the flared tube out. Work finished. |
