This charming original aquatint is in very good condition indeed and dates to 1856. It depicts a "car" belonging to the Bianconi Company in Ireland. Italian, Charles Bianconi began his business in Southern Ireland in 1815 and ran a very popular network of "cars" throughout the Republic. The picture is framed and the framed size is 22" x 18", the actual picture size 16" x 12".
