The Sad Sack was a comic strip created during WWII by Sgt. George Baker, who had previously worked for Disney. After WWII the comic strip went into newspaper syndication (1946-1958). The Sad Sack also had a long run as a comic book series with many spin-offs and was the source for a film (The Sad Sack) in 1957 with Jerry Lewis in the title role.PLEASE VIEW
