Up for sale is a VERY RARE vintage Lladro 5168 “Solomon” w/wooden base - MINT! This lovely historic Christian sculpture represents the values, sentiments, and ideas deep-seated in the tradition and history of our culture. Beyond individual religious beliefs, it is part of a collection that showcase a legacy closely connected with our land, with our art, with an outlook on life that has been passed down to us by our ancestors. Signed ~ stamped with the blue tulip Lladro Hand Made in Spain Daisa 1982.
King Solomon, also known as Jedidiah, was supposed to have been the wisest king Israel ever had. He was also incredibly wealthy. This Lladro depiction has him with a long beard sitting on a marble throne with a carved face for a lion. This lovely vintage Lladro porcelain sculpture would make an exceptional gift for any special occasion or collection.
