Green Honeydews have lime-green, juicy flesh that is incredibly sweet and aromatic. Green Honeydews are smooth-skinned with a green tinged rind. They also have a small seed cavity and high sugar content. This variety can be grown successfully in most climates, but tends to thrive in the South and Southwest. Green Honeydews are known for being superbly sweet. The high-yielding vines produce 3 to 6 pound honeydews that store and ship well. Green Honeydews are excellent by themselves, in salads, or in desserts.
