Item Description



Cordey mid century porcelain couple figurine, lady in a frilly ballgown, matching hat and a gentleman equally elegant, corkscrew curls found on many Cordey figures, pierced decoration and ruched, netted topskirt draped in floral garlands. The Cordey China Company was founded by Boleslaw Cybis in 1942 in Trenton, N. J. Their earlier figures were made of a form of pottery called Papka. Good condition, there are some lace chips showing in picture on skirt, there might be a few flower and lace chips, there is so much going on it's impossible to discern, but generally very good condition. lady is 8 1/2 and gentleman 8 tall.
