First released in May 1970 amidst the swirl of The Beatles’ breakup, Let It Be now takes its rightful place in the band’s history.  The film has undergone a meticulous restoration process and has never looked or sounded better, capturing the iconic foursome’s warmth and camaraderie while documenting a pivotal moment in music history with some terrific performances to boot.

Let It Be, directed by Michael Lindsay-Hogg, stars John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr, with a special appearance by Billy Preston. The film documents the making of the ‘Let It Be’ album by The Beatles and offers a unique glimpse into the creative process of this world-renowned group as well as the subtle relationships among the individual members.  There is jamming of old songs and painstaking work on the new ones.  In search of a new direction, The Beatles play an inspired concert on the roof of their London offices.  

This DVD features over two hours of bonus music videos, trailers, interviews with both Director Lindsay-Hogg and Peter Jackson and offering complete performances of many of the songs recorded during the sessions.
