A bumper crop of monochrome Laurel and Hardy comedy classics combined with their colourised versions. This set contains three volumes of high jinks starring the original tubby/skinny comedy twosome. The storyline varies little in Laurel & Hardy films; Stan and Ollie find themselves in an unusual situation and must use their ingenuity to work things out, Ollie is the boss but he's no smarter than Stan so calamity invariably ensues. This set consists of three discs, each featuring one classic Stan and Ollie feature alongside a few others, most in their natural monochrome state as well as the colourised version of the same film. Also containing some early silent features, the set provides a valuable look at some classic and historic comedy.
