Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman and Shailene Woodley star in this seven-part HBO miniseries based on the novel by Liane Moriarty. On the first day of school in Monterey, Madeline Martha Mackenzie (Witherspoon), her friend Celeste Wright (Kidman) and newly-arrived single mother Jane Chapman (Woodley) are enrolling their kids in the first grade.
