All seven episodes from the second series of comedy drama 'Northern Exposure'. Rob Morrow stars as Joel Fleischman, a Jewish doctor from New York who is obligated to practice in Alaska. In this series Ed (Darren E. Burrows) receives a 'Dear John' letter from Elaine (Marilyn Whirlwind), who has decided to marry an older judge and Joel's plans for a vacation to New York are put on hold when Maggie (Janine Turner) has a dream in which he dies in a plane crash.
