Coming-of-age teen romcom in which a high school nerd professes his unrequited love in front of the entire school. At his graduation ceremony, head geek Denis Cooverman (Paul Rust) finally plucks up the courage and admits his love for idolised cheerleader Beth Cooper (Hayden Panettiere). Shocked when Beth accepts an invitation to his party later that same day, Denis then has to beat a hasty retreat when Beth's knucklehead boyfriend Kevin (Shawn Roberts) turns up and proceeds to trash the house.
