Triple bill of classic war movies. In 'The Blue Max' (1966), during World War One the Blue Max was the Luftwaffe's most coveted honour. Combat pilot Bruno Stachel (George Peppard) is determined to win it at whatever cost - even if it means betraying his own squadron. James Mason co-stars as the commander who threatens to thwart Stachel's ambitions. In 'A Yank in the R.A.F.' (1941), having recently arrived in London, Tim Baker (Tyrone Power) is hoping to impress his girlfriend Carol Brown (Betty Grable) by joining the Royal Air Force. His 'couldn't-care-less' attitude towards the war changes when he has to fly under combat conditions and prove his abilities. In 'D-Day the Sixth of June' (1956), a British and an American soldier (Robert Taylor and Richard Todd), both in love with the same woman (Dana Wynter), are travelling to Normandy in 1944. Aware of the dangers of the impending invasion, they stave off fear by reminiscing about their romances. Please note this DVD is region 2 and will only work in the following regions Japan, Europe, South Africa, the Middle East (including Egypt) and Greenland, Unless you have a multi-regional DVD Player.
