Lindsay Lohan stars in this comedy as Thea Clayhill, a secretary whose position at a publishing firm run by tyrannical boss Jerry Steinwald (Chris Parnell) is under threat. To safeguard her job she comes up with the novel solution of faking a pregnancy, a plan that works beautifully with the help of a pillow and her best friend Lisa (Cheryl Hines). When the boss leaves town on a business trip, his cute younger brother Nick (Luke Kirby) takes over the firm, and Thea not only gets promoted into the newly created parenting division, but soon becomes romantically involved with her gorgeous new boss. Being 'pregnant' seems to have solved all her problems - but any gestation period must eventually come to an end...
