Still in ORIGINAL SHRINK-WRAP (opened), with HYPE-STICKER (with sticker residue and small surface abrasion). Vinyl plays with occasional light-crackles (play-graded). 12" Single. Cover looks great; a couple creases near edges; no scuffing (front/back); slight discoloration on front. Inner-sleeve is original (generic white). Spine is easy-to-read with very mild-wear. Little shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge; minor wear to corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and a few divots. (Not a cut-out.)
Monkey was released as a single in 1988 and reached #1 on the US Hot 100 and #13 on the UK Singles Chart. Monkey became George Michael's eighth #1 US single, and the fourth consecutive #1 from the Faith album. The song also reached number one in the U.S. Hot Dance Club Play chart for two weeks and became his first dance number one. When the song was released as a single, the single version was remixed by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis.
