Tender perennial (Zones 3-9) best grown as an annual. Full sun.

Prolific plants produce masses of blooms for cut floral arrangements. Excellent filler with long, multiple branching stems highlighted by tri-color flowers with small almost purple button/cone centers and purple stems. Flowers have bright yellow tips with an orange coppery base. The orange fades to a lovely apricot color with age.

Use in mass plantings for an extremely aye inspiring visual impact. Long blooming period from late summer through falls first frost.

Sow seed directly outdoors a couple weeks before your regions last frost date, or in fall. Light aids in germination so if covering only dust lightly with soil.  Can be started indoors in advance up to 5 weeks before transplanting. Chill seed for best results before allowing them to warm to preferred germination soil temperatures of 70°.  Ensure plants are hardened off before relocating to permanent location outside. Seed may benefit from stratification prior to planting.
