A contemporary American painter and printmaker, Olga Poloukhine received her education in the arts from Douglass College, Rutgers (B.A., 1956) and Columbia University (M.A., 1960). During her career Poloukhine has exhibited with such institutions as the Nassau County Fine Arts Museum, NY, the Long Beach Museum of Art, NY, the Fine Arts Museum of Long Island, the National Association of Women Artists, Washington & Lee University, PA, the Hunterdon Art Center, NJ, and internationally in Spain, England, France, Korea, Columbia and Mexico. She has also received awards from the National Association of Women Artists, Council for the Arts on the North Shore, Nassau County Fine Arts Museum, Hutchins Art Gallery and the Long Beach Museum of Art.
Olga Poloukhine is a full member of the National Association of Women Artists and the New York Society of Women Artists. She is also a founding member of the Long Island Graphic Eye Gallery and served as its President from 1989 to 1991. Today the art of Poloukhine is included in the permanent collections of the Zimmerli Museum, Rutgers University, Queens Museum, New York and in numerous corporate collections. She has also been commissioned for iconographic art from many American churches
