HP Sears is a privately-owned, debt collection agency. They have been a leader in the industry since 1928 when Mr. Sears lost his job as a credit manager with Standard Oil and started the business. He adopted a copyrighted logo "The Credit Cops". Still in business in Bakersfield California. Marked on bottom USA. No chips or cracks in excellent condition. Great old time cops in vehicle graphic on this hard to find advertising mug. Holds 8 ounces.
