Carrie's father is renowned artist Gary Cooley. Perhaps due to being surrounded by beautiful paintings and sculptures as a child, she just naturally developed a love and a appreciation for art. Several years ago at her father's suggestion, she began sculpting. She discovered that she had the ability to create dimensional art, and loved doing it.

She began nature and anatomy studies, desiring to produce perfectly balanced sculptures that would depict the warmth of real life. Her sculptures are now in homes, galleries, and businesses throughout the country. In 2001, she was commissioned, along with her father to create a life sized sculpture of two children, for The Children's Miracle Network. This dynamic piece names "Helping Hands" was placed in the courtyard of their hospitality house in Eugene, Oregon.

It is Carrie's desire to choose each subject carefully, wanting to promote a sense of peace and enjoyment to the collector. Her work reflects her joyous, positive spirit, and her appreciation for each new day. You will find that each sculpture evokes both strength gentleness, a true reflection of Carrie's personality.
