I started “Woof!” with strips of fabric left over from my next-to-last piece, “Miaow!” and initially made a downward leading white path, placing several decorated dogs walking down it.  It sat for a week or so until I realized that it was too small, and added more strips and another white path.  I then separated left-facing dogs and right-facing ones on the two paths.  Though sloping down from left to right, like the first path, this one is definitely upward, because that’s the direction for the dogs walking along it!

This is one of the few “companion” pieces, because I seldom have made a pair of pieces that complement each other.
