The rarest silver-plated knife from Spain in 1885. Made in honor of King Alfonso XII. A rare find.*
*Alfonso XII is the only son of Queen Isabella II and the Infante Francisco de Asís de Bourbon, Duke of Cadiz./ After the deposition of his mother in 1868, he left the country with her, until the summer of 1874 he studied at the Imperial Royal Theresian Academy in Vienna and then entered the Royal Military Academy in England. On June 25, 1870, Isabella renounced her rights to the throne in his favor. On November 28, 1874, Alfonso was declared an adult and on December 1 he issued a manifesto in which he declared himself the only legitimate monarch of Spain. 1885 is his last year of his life and reign.*
