The Bauerfeind AchilloTrain is a comfortable, neoprene-free, knitted Achilles tendon support brace which incorporates an anatomically contoured silicone insert that runs alongside the Achilles tendon and provides gentle compression treatment for any achilles tendon injury, including achilles tendonitis pain and tendon strains. The insert is removable so that the support can be worn as a general ankle support to help treat heel pain as well. The AchilloTrain is the perfect achilles tendon brace for patients recovering from achilles tendon surgery or rupture while they're recovering or going through rehabilitation. Size is determined by loosely measuring the circumference of the ankle at the narrowest point.

Additional Information
- The support comes installed with a soft silicone insert which reduces the stress on the achilles tendon leaving it pressure-free. The silicone insert also provides intermittent compression to aid in reducing swelling and edema around the tendon itself.
- The anatomical knit of the AchilloTrain is also contoured to place the foot/ankle in a slightly plantar-flexed (foot slightly down) position for comfort.
- A special viscoelastic heel-wedge is incorporated into the heel portion of the Achillotrain to raise the heel slightly thereby reducing additional stress on the achilles tendon and the heel - the perfect treatment for tendonitis pain and swelling.
- An additional heel-wedge is provided for the unaffected foot to prevent uneven leg lengths when walking.
