The Outer Tub Gasket is an OEM replacement part for LG front-load washers. Situated between the front and rear outer tubs, it forms a critical seal preventing water leaks during fills and cycles. Constructed from durable yet flexible rubberized material, this gasket withstands constant compression from tub movements.

Causes for replacement are cracks developing from years of flexing stresses, as well as distortions that compromise sealing integrity. Normal seal compression can also cause gradual wear of sealing material over time.

Symptoms of a faulty front-load outer tub gasket include:

• Puddles or drips of water between or behind the wash tubs
• Dried mineral deposits from leakages around tub connection points
