Bepanthen Sensiderm Cream is specially designed to relieve itching and redness caused by dry skin and Atopic Dermatitis (atopic eczema).

Bepanten Sensiderm has a cortisone-free formula that combines the quick soothing effect (up to 30 minutes) of itching with that of skin restoration.

What is pruritus and how it can be treated:

Itching, redness and inflammation of the skin are caused by dry skin, Atopic Dermatitis/eczema, allergic skin reactions and other skin irritations. In these cases, the lipids in the stratum corneum (also called the skin barrier) are damaged and this can cause itching.

These lipids, mainly seradmides, act as natural protectors against irritation. When this protective barrier is present, the water in the skin is lost, which leads to dehydration of the skin and thus itching occurs. In addition, the weakened barrier is less effective against the penetration of irritants into the body, which can exacerbate the feeling of itching.

In cases such as allergic skin reactions, Atopic Dermatitis/eczema, dry skin and other skin irritations, restoring the skin's protective barrier through the use of products such as Bepanthen® Sensitive Cream to reduce the sensation of itching is a key element of therapy.

How to act Bepanthen Sensiderm Cream:

Among other carefully selected ingredients, it includes a special lamellar lipid technology to relieve irritation and quickly soothe itching (within 30 minutes after application) with a structure similar to the structure of natural lipids (seradmids).

Lamellar-oriented lipids join the affected lipid barrier of the stratum corneum of the skin, restoring it. An unaffected (overall) protective barrier is very important, as its damage can cause irritation, itching, etc. Hydration contributes to the restoration of the skin and its barrier function. Bepanthen® Sandyderm Cream contains moisturizers such as glycerin that maintain an optimal level of water in the upper layer of the skin thus keeping it hydrated. The effect is complemented by panthenol, which facilitates the restoration of the skin barrier and improves hydration, while reducing rough skin and thus providing optimal conditions for its natural regeneration.

How to use this product:

It is applied as necessary to the affected but without injury skin of children and adults to relieve itching and inflammation. Such manifestations can occur with dry skin, atopic dermatitis, eczema, allergic skin reactions.

Can Bepanthen Centiderm Cream be used during pregnancy and lactation:

Bepanthen Centiderm Cream can be used by pregnant and lactating women.

If used during breastfeeding, it is important to remove any traces of the cream before placing the baby on the breast.
