This LG oven encoder board is an OEM replacement part that detects the position of the control dial and signals the control board. It replaces a faulty original encoder board. Located behind the control panel, it allows you to control oven functions and operations. A failed encoder board can cause inaccurate temperatures, malfunctioning timers, and difficulty turning the oven on/off.
To install the OEM replacement encoder board, unplug the oven and remove the control panel cover. Carefully disconnect the wiring connectors and replace the failed board with the new one.
