Vintage Hua Ping Tang Zhi Chinese Porcelain Rooster & Hen 2 Handled Tray/ Plate.  Approximate measurements are:  15" Long x 11" Wide x 2" Tall and weighs approximately 4 lb. 12 oz without packing materials.  The red stamp on the back (Maker's Mark) in the rectangle says:  Hua Ping Tang Zhi.  According to research this means: Hua "China", "Magnificent", Ping "Even, Level, Democratic" Tang "Hall", Zhi "Made".  This particular Tray/ Plate says "Not for food" warning, which became mandatory in 1979.  Very thin enamel and rare, not exactly traditional style of the decorating makes them unique- the finish even has that crackle detail throughout.  Display as Wall Decor, Side Table, Entryway, Centerpiece or put it with your other Asian Collectibles.  This Tray/ Play is STUNNING & RARE to find in this Pristine a Condition!   Condition is preowned with no chips, cracks or missing paint.  This bottom does have some scuffs & discoloration due to age, use & love!  Prop not included- Tray only.
