First edition. 12 1/4" x 9 1/4" color pictorial wrappers, 6 pp. including covers. Words and music that lament the life of a Pullman Porter and his many duties as he tries to serve and please the public as they ride on trains...and all to earn a dime. Covers lightly soiled. Black-inked name, and "L.S. Ayers & Co Music Dept., Indianapolis" purple stamp on cover. Tiny nicks and small closed tears to the fore-edges and bottom. Splitting in the middle.
The form of composition is 'strophic with chorus', the instrumentation is 'piano and voice', the first line reads 'I feel Oh so blue, I really don't know what to do', and the illustration artist is not listed.
